Project Details
Narrative Description of Project:
The project consists of rehabilitating an existing roadway extending from Bisbeel to Bchannine area in Zgharta Caza and constructing a road section connecting Aaba, Bichmizzine, and KfarHazir areas in Koura Caza. It is a 14 km stretch of the classified road network and the design of a 6km road in the Arz area, that by-pass the Cedars Forest Reserve. Estimated total Cost: USD 10.6 M
Description of Actual Services Provided:
1- Field Reconnaissance.
2- Topographic Surveys.
3- Evaluation of existing pavement and soil investigation.
4- Highway geometric design (plan, profile, cross-sections).
5- Pavement design.
6- Roadway drainage.
7- Design of retaining and drainage structures.
8- Traffic safety elements, signing and road marking.
9- Environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management plan (EMP).
10- Traffic model.
11- Economic feasibility study.
12- Row expropriation plans and decree.
13- Tender documents for construction including: general and special conditions, specifications, specifications, bills of quantities.
14- Fair price cost estimate.
