Narrative Description of Project:
The south Motorway is the limited access highway that goes along the coast and connects Beirut with cities to its south. It is being built in stages, and it has been completed to a point between Saida and Tyre. After its construction, three villages (Rmaileh, Baasir, and Maghdoucheh) requested to have access to the motor way via entrance and exit ramps. The technical and economic feasibility were studied (by TEAM International) subsequently TEAM International was asked to design these entrances and exits and prepare tender documents for construction
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided:
Entrances and exits were designed at these three locations. Where required the access roads to these villages were improved. Specific attention was paid to provide safe access. In addition to geometric, the services included drainage work, signage and marking. Three separate tender documents sets were prepared. Where needed, land expropriation decrees were prepared.
