TEAM responsibilities involved the conduct of the following 16 (Sixteen) Management Training Modules for Top and Middle Management and Supervisory Level:

    • Introduction to Management.
    • Basics of Planning.
    • Problem Solving and Decision-Making.
    • Basics of Organization.
    • The Nature and impact of Sector Reform.
    • Managing Organizational Change and Development.
    • Organizational Behavior and Motivation.
    • Leadership Style and Effectiveness.
    • Interpersonal and Organizational Communication.
    • Basics of Control.
    • Introduction HRD and HRM.
    • Training Needs Assessment and On the Job Training Techniques.
    • HRD Planning, Recruitment, Movement and Release.
    • Training Development.
    • Performance Appraisal and Interviews.
    • Customer Relations.

Project Outputs:

 

    • Permanent national system for developing and upgrading national vocational skill standards.
    • Skill standards for 100 selected trades.
    • Training modules of all skills for those selected trades and its’ levels, these modules included all the necessary technical knowledge, practical exercises, and evaluation tests for each skill.
    • Training the trades groups members, who are responsible for implementing and developing skill standards, as well as the personnel responsible for developing the training programs of each skill (about 100 persons capable to participate practically in this system and can train others).
    • Equipping of 30 training centers with needed equipment and visual aids, in addition to 20 training unites in the companies, in order to be able to implement all needed training programs for the selected 100 trades.
    • Training of at least 80 managers and 420 trainers in the mentioned training centers in order to be able to deal with the upgraded training programs, this training includes skills upgrading, and technical pedagogical training.
    • Upgrading one of the training centers in order to become staff training center the center providing the system with its’ needed and efficient personnel. This includes preparing a group of trainers.
    • Developing an information database for the project, this database includes all skills standards and levels, training modules, in addition to establishing network to link it with the participants unions and selected training centers.
  • Capacity building of all human resource development units and department in the participants federations, as well as the skills standards unit in the Technical Secretariat.
