Project Details
This project involved supervision of 160 bed hospital. The scope of work covered comprehensive contract administration and supervision services, including:
Establishing systems and monitoring quality control, progress control and quantities installed.
Ensuring that the contractor is working in conformity with contract requirements in terms of legal aspects, materials, specifications, construction methods and workmanship
Establishing a programme of weekly/monthly progress review meetings while keeping CDR informed accordingly.
Review of design
Evaluation of cost and time implications of variations
Review payment applications by the contractor and certify for payment
Review construction schedules updated by the contractor.
Keeping records of tests, inspection approvals….
Initiate and supervise the commissioning of plant and engineering services, and ensure that operating manuals, as-built drawings, etc. are made available to CDR, and issue completion and final certificates.
The project involves two hospitals: one in Saida, and one in Zahlé, with a total cost of the first phase of USD 23 m
