Description of Actual Services Provided:
The work involved assessment of the existing pavement conditions, topographic and soil surveys, preliminary and detailed design and the preparation of tender documents for the widening and rehabilitation of the 11 Km long section.
Designs were produced for widening this motorway section for a 2-lane carriage way in each direction to a 3-lane carriage way in each direction, rehabilitation of shoulders and side slopes, reinforcement of the pavement in certain areas, and an asphalt overlay.
The output included execution drawings, typical details, cross-sections, and pavement treatment, plus the general and special Conditions of Contract, Technical Specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Cost Estimates
