Project Details
Narrative Description of Project:
A beach front development along the Seeb beach in Muscat, 6 km long with an average 500 m width. It will include residential, commercial, and leisure facilities including hotels, marinas, souks, golf course, beaches, etc.
Description of Actual Services Provided:
All traffic planning in-site and of-site, based on a Traffic Impact Study. Output included recommendations regarding street widths, intersection control, parking control, ITS applications; and the configuration of interchanges along the boundary highway. EIA included a full assessment of impacts during construction and operation on the marine and land environments. Output included a detailed Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
